Koschei the Deathless hid his death so well that he shuffled the pages of the Golden Book of Tales. The heroes fell out of their stories and the monsters roam where they please. You are the storyteller: gather the heroes into a band and put every tale back where it belongs. The game is in development; screenshots are from the prototype, which is in Russian.

No gacha, no summons

  • Heroes join your band from the tales: Ilya Muromets at the first verst, Ivan Tsarevich and Vasilisa the Beautiful right after, and the Grey Wolf walks out of the thicket himself.
  • Loot odds are open. Items come from a "luck bag" with a known mix in every twenty, so bad luck has an end.
  • Battles have no randomness. The prophetic raven tells you the outcome before the fight.

Five minutes a day is enough

  • While you are away, the band travels on its own and fills the travel bag. The bag holds two days: miss a day and lose nothing.
  • A visit takes five minutes, and the game tells you when you are done for today.
  • The single-player game works fully offline.

Real fairy tales

  • The tales are retold in our own words from 19th-century collections — Afanasyev's folk tales and the bylinas collected by Rybnikov and Hilferding.
  • Every monster has a secret from its tale: the Nightingale must be shot down from his oak, Zmey Gorynych stops breathing fire after the silken whip, and Koschei cannot be defeated while the needle is whole.

Lubok and Bilibin

Black outlines, flat colours and ornamental borders. The heroes are assembled in code from parts, like paper dolls, and dressed in folk paintings — lubok, khokhloma, gzhel and Dymkovo toys. For the whole family, ages 6+: nobody dies — beaten foes run away and a fallen hero leaves the battle in a puff of cloud.

With friends — the outpost

An outpost is you and up to ten friends, joined by a code or a link. Once a week you hunt a monster together, and every threshold rewards the whole outpost — even those who didn’t make it in time. Gifts, a helper hero and a feed of ready-made phrases — no leaderboards, no outpost wars, no mandatory dues.

When

All eight tales — from One-Eyed Likho to Koschei’s death — the outpost with its weekly hunt and the finale are already in the game, and the outpost server is running. Next come the tale texts from the printed editions and a closed test. We won’t name a date until we’re sure of it. The game is being prepared for release in RuStore for Android, in Russian first.
