Long nardy is the backgammon cousin played across Russia, the Caucasus and Central Asia: fifteen checkers each, no hitting, and a race home past your opponent's blocks. The game is in development and in Russian first; the screenshots are from the prototype. An English version is planned after the release.
Fair dice
- Against the bot and on one phone the dice are rolled the moment you roll them: neither the bot nor the game knows them in advance, and a roll can't be redone by restarting the game.
- Open dice statistics: how often each face and doubles come up, for you and your opponent separately.
- Online games with a friend come with a check: after the game your phone recomputes every roll itself. How it works, and how to check a game yourself in the browser, is on the fair dice page (in Russian).
Ads only between games
Never during a game, no banners, at most every other game, and none at all in your first games. One purchase removes them for good.
A strong bot
Four levels, from Beginner to Master; the upper three are one neural network trained on millions of games against itself — the higher the level, the less often it allows itself a weaker move. Against the bot you can take back a move or ask for a hint — such a game simply doesn't count towards your score.
Where it stands
Games against the bot at all four levels, on one phone and online with a friend by code or invite link already work, as do the game review and the luck meter. Next come purchases, a closed test and the RuStore listing.
